Dr. Brandon Hillier earned his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology degree from the University of New Brunswick. After which he pursued his passion at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC), where he graduated summa cum laude with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree. Born and raised in Labrador City, NL, Brandon grew up participating in a wide range of sports. However, it was his love for competitive hockey and golf that truly stood out. Along the way, he faced several injuries related to sports, but it was through chiropractic care that he found effective relief and recovery. This experience sparked a passion in him to pursue a career in chiropractic, as he witnessed firsthand the positive impact it can have on people’s lives. Brandon prioritizes evidence-based approaches in his practice. With a patient-centered philosophy, he strives to assist and empower individuals in reaching optimal health and wellness through personalized treatment plans. Brandon uses various therapeutic techniques, including education, manipulation/mobilization, soft tissue therapy, integrated dry needling, and active rehabilitation. By combining these methods, he creates comprehensive treatment plans to address each patient’s unique needs and help them reach their goals, reduce pain levels, and improve their overall well-being. Outside of work, Brandon continues to play hockey and golf. He has also developed a new found love for running, which led him to successfully complete the 2023 Toronto Marathon. When he’s not participating in sports, Brandon enjoys spending quality time with family and friends.

Dr. Matt Kennedy is a 2018 graduate from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto. Originally, he is from the small town of Inverness on beautiful Cape Breton Island. Prior to attending Chiropractic college Matt became familiar with the Bedford/Sackville area, as he graduated from the “old” Charles P. Allen high school and later pursued a Bachelor of Science degree from Mount Saint Vincent University.

Matt likes to take a whole-body approach to his assessment and treatment with specific interest in one’s functional movement and how it can be improved to alleviate and prevent pain and reoccurrence.

Dr. Matt has experience treating a variety of conditions that include but are not limited to musculoskeletal injuries, back pain, neck pain, headaches, knee, wrist, elbow and shoulder pain. He uses a combination of treatments including manual therapy, biomedical acupuncture, instrument assisted soft tissue techniques, rehabilitative exercise programs, movement patterning and education.

Matt has a not so secret passion for golf, he is a Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) certified professional. He has been trained to use the TPI movement screen in combination with his knowledge of the human body and injury prevention. This allows Matt to help find a golfer’s physical limitations and address them so they can move and play better. Whether it’s through swing instruction, physical rehabilitation or strength and conditioning exercises.

Matt has a passion for treating, educating and motivating his patients of all ages. His goal is that every patient leaves their appointment feeling better and with the confidence and knowledge to manage their condition and improve their movement limitations.

When Dr. Matt is not treating patients, he can usually be found enjoying the beauty of Nova Scotia on one of many trails, cycling new routes, relaxing on a beach or with a golf club in hand.
